While it is true that an individual can effect a whole system, it is also very true that a system can effect an individual. All things being equal, it is by far easier for the system to effect change on the individual than it is for the individual to effect the system.
The Organization as a System
An organization is made up of parts (people, machines, money etc) and each one of the parts makes up the system or organization. When the parts interact with each other in harmony, the phenomenon called synergy is produced, according to which, the result obtained from the harmonic interaction of the parts is a desired outcome.
What happens in a Bad Organization
In bad organizations people focus on politics and struggle to do routine tasks effectively and efficiently. The internal processes are so broken that this becomes a vortex into which seemingly all energy is sucked. Almost all projects are “successful” because there is no clear definition beforehand of what success looks like.
In addition, people in bad organization spend much of their time fighting organizational boundaries, infighting, and broken processes. They are not even clear on what their jobs are, so there is no way to know if they are getting the job done or not.
The Good Employee
Simply put; Good employees are people who can focus on their work and have confidence that if they get their work done, good things will happen for both the company and them personally.
The Effect of Good or Bad Organization on Good Employee
A good organization system satisfies and motivates a good employee, a bad organization dissatisfies and demoralizes a good employee and makes team work impossible for them. While it is true pleasure to work in a good organization where a good employee can wake up knowing that the work he does will be efficient, effective, and make a difference for the organization and themselves which makes his jobs both motivating and fulfilling a bad organization offers dissatisfaction and demoralization.
How Does Bad Organization Corrupts Good Employee?
With dissatisfaction and demoralization a good employee begins to to have Mood swings, Disgruntlement, then eventually Becomes a Different Person which is the worst corruption to the employee who was once good.
Does Bad Organization Corrupt Good Employee?
While it can be deduced from the above information that a bad organization can corrupt good employee, but when I think about employee who have revolutionized and make changes to bad organization without being corrupted by it, I have to answer “not all of the time”. So bad organization only corrupts good employee some of the time.
So with all of that, I have to make the declaration that bad organization does NOT corrupt good employee! However, I will say that bad organization corrupts good employees that give room for the corruption.
