    1. 3.5 StarsThis was so much adorably fluffy goodness. And of course there is excellent humor and flirty banter as you would expect from a Rachel Hawkins book. We follow Daisy Winters as her life changes thanks to her sister, Ellie’s royal engagement to Prince Alex. I really liked Daisy, she’s hilarious and doesn’t really have a filter. Which makes for a lot of entertainment in a buttoned-up environment. I loved meeting all the royal family members and the hijinks that Seb and his friends get [...]

    2. It's sort of ridiculous how enamoured I am with this book but BOY AM I IN LOVE WITH IT. there's like one scene I absolutely hated which I'll write about in my review that none of y'all will see until like March of 2018 or some shot, but yeah. Hence the 4 stars. But this was so cute! So fun! I love Royal romances man.

    3. Thank You Edelweiss for providing me a free review copy in exchange for an honest reviewI'm just going to mark this review as spoilers until it's closer to the release date, because even for me this is pretty early.(view spoiler)[So, I have never been into the royal family. I can count on one hand the times I've thought about them even within the context of their highly publicized weddings. But, royalty has been a stable in literature since reading became a thing, so the concept of royals has es [...]

    4. I loved Rachel Hawkin's last series (Rebel Belle) and her #SexyHistory threads always have me dying. So it's unsurprising how much I adored Royals because it combines her voice from both those things (and is so much more). It is funny and charming and surprising. The banter is on point. Oh, the banter. I want to verbally spar with Daisy, Miles, and Seb every day. Every character is a winner - I was invested in everyone's happiness - which, let's be real, does not always happen. I'm not sure if t [...]

    5. Not even a full two days into my trip, and I was already going full Jane Austen. To be published in May 1st, 2018 by G.P. Putnam’s Sons Books for Young Readerse-ARC provided by the publisher on Edelweiss+Genres: teen & YA fiction, teen & YA romanceThemes: royalty, prince, princess, sibling rivalry, love-hate relationship, ScotlandMy synopsis: When Daisy Winters’ perfect sister, Ellie, got engaged to the prince and future king of Scotland, her life didn’t quite turn upside-down, thou [...]

    6. Daisy Winters is not exactly your typical Florida teenager - sure she's got a job at the local convenience store, boy troubles and all the standard teen drama, but she's also got an mermaid princess hair, an ex-British rock star for a father, and oh yeah, a sister who just got engaged to the future King of Scotland.Hawkins was clearly *thrilled* with the timing of Meghan Markle's engagement to Prince Harry - the timing could not have been better for her YA romance. The story follows Daisy as she [...]

    7. Thank You to Edelweiss for providing me a free review copy in exchange for an honest review.(Review)
(DISCLAIMER: This review is based on my opinion only and may contain coarse language)Daisy’s sister; Ellie is getting married into Alex, a Duke and Crown Prince of Scotland. As Daisy’s family is introduced to Scotland, we meet Prince Sebastian, the scandal causing playboy and Miles, his Best Friend.Royals is down to Earth and sarcastic, in a good way of course. It was like having a Prince g [...]

    8. Received an ARC from the publisher for an honest review.Daisy is just your average teenager with crazy parents and a part time job until her life gets turned upside down when her perfect sister, Ellie, falls in love and gets engaged to the Crown Prince of Scotland. Daisy is now thrown into the spotlight with the tabloids and gets a crash course on how to be royal. Daisy soon learns how easy it is for people to take things out of context and how one picture can lead to scandal. This book was a fun [...]

    9. Stupid YA tripe. STOP QUIPPING FOR ONE SECOND AND TALK LIKE A NORMAL HUMAN BEING. A bunch of idiotic teen drama, a bunch of needlessly bitchy characters, a bunch of people behaving nonsensically and irrationally. And Daisy is all like "lol I don't have a filter, I'm so qUiRkY!" and I'm like "in the real world, that's called being a rude, classless child."From right at the beginning -- First of all, if you're at all worried that people are going to stalk you, your Facebook should already be locke [...]

    10. I enjoy Rachel Hawkins but know her for her fantasy stories. This is my first introduction to her contemporary books, and I loved it. Ms. Hawkins has a delightful writing style, easy to read, flowing story line and the added charm of words I actually had to look up. Why? because this story is about the Royals of Scotland so we get some of the wonderful Scottish brogue thrown is. I love Daisy Winters in this book she is a witty, snappy American girl who ruffles some feathers as she is whisked to [...]

    11. Okay, I’ll admit, Rebel Belle by Rachel Hawkins is one of my favourite books. As such, I was really excited to hear she’s coming out with a new novel. However, I was kind of disappointed when I found out the plot. Crown Prince of Scotland? A country which hasn’t had its own royal family since either the 17th or 18th Century depending on whether you count the Treaty of the Union or the Treaty of the Crowns as joining the monarchy to England’s. This, at first, really put me off the book.Yes [...]

    12. The plot of a royal romance is what got me interested in the book to begin with. I am a fan of young adult romances, Royal ones being among the few I enjoy.I loved everything about this book: The locations, the plot, dialogue, and even the realistic characters. I loved seeing things mostly from Daisy's point of view, a "commoner" thrusted into a royal family through her big sister's upcoming marriage. This book is great for young adult romance fans of any kind.I got an early digital copy of this [...]

    13. 4.5 out of 5 stars: First, I’d like to thank the publisher for allowing me to read the ARC of this book. I absolutely loved this book as a whole. The setting in beautiful Scotland, and a Royal family! YES PLEASE. I also love how relatable Daisy is as a main character. I found myself often laughing out loud and crying from happiness (and I’m not a book crier at any means) 10/10 would recommend this read when it is released

    14. Just totally charming. All of Rachel Hawkins's usual wit and humor, except this time instead of MAGIC we get ROYALTY. Also, sisters who don't understand each other and a whole heap of cute, roguish boys. I'm not sure if we're getting a book 2 but I reeeeeally hope so.If you loved THE ROYAL WE (The Fug Girls) or PRINCE IN DISGUISE (Stephanie Kate Strohm), or if you're just thrilled to death ab the royal wedding, this book will be your thing. Get psyched.

    15. Fun, sassy story of an American high school girl whose older sister is engaged to the prince of Scotland. Daisy travels to Scotland for the summer to meet the royal family. I was pretty skeptical but Hawkins continually surprised me by having the main character rebel against the tropes I worried she would fall into.Think "The Royal We" but told from a younger sister's perspective.

    16. Thank you for publisher via Edelweiss to read this prior to publication.A light, fluffy middle grade/YA romance. The release date couldn't be better as it will be right at the time of the royal wedding.

    17. I loved the change in pace for the author. Normally a fantasy writer, Rachel Hawkins does her take on a princess book, and I loved it!
