    1. I don't read much erotic fiction but I'm addicted to RK Ryde's Stella Series. The Stella Series is an unusual and intelligent romance - it's the love story of Jehovah's Witness, Stella Welsch and powerful businessman, Conrad Adams. In Stella's Emancipation, the second book in the series, readers experience a roller coaster ride of love and conflict with plenty of saucy bits in between. Ryde's considerable skill in visual description treats readers to a movie-like experience. I swear Ryde could wr [...]

    2. What a read. Love loved loved Stella & Conrad I was tearing up one moment and smiling the next. The way RK writes is so deep and gets deep in your soul. The emotional coaster is one helluva ride but so absolutely amazing because you're there with Stella, you're right by her side going through it all with her and it is absolutely beautiful. I don't want to give anything away but this is a MUST READ! Cannot wait for even more work by RK Ryde, this women's work is just a whole different level t [...]

    3. Erotic Romance isn’t a genre I generally read but the Stella Series is well written and the stories have depth to them. Stella’s Emancipation is the second book of the series. Stella has left Conrad to return to her family but she knows that her heart belongs to him. What follows is a roller coaster ride of emotion as they both try to navigate their new life together. Some secrets are revealed but they are darker than Stella expected. Then a mysterious woman enters the scene and RK Ryde leav [...]

    4. It can't end there! I need book three right now!! This book began with heartbreak and ended with me on the edge of my seat. For being together just a few short months, Conrad and Stella sure have had their fair share of obstacles. Holy Moses. There's always something going on and a lot of back and forth. Both with the couple as well as Stella's battle with herself. I adore these two even more now that I've completed book two, but man, did they drive me crazy. I wanted to lock them in a room on n [...]

    5. I adore this series. Book 2 was just as addictive as the first. It is an intelligent and surprising romance. I must admit, i was expecting it to be more difficult at the beginning. I thought she would be trapped in her situation and Conrad would have to swoop in and rescue her from the clutches of her parents and their beliefs. Or maybe find and enlist the assistance of Parker to help her disconnect. So that part went a little easier than i anticipated. But it flowed well and fit with the story. [...]

    6. Less Jehovah more 50 shades Usually for me second series books lack the excitement of a new story and they also don’t give me the final closing storyline I long for. At the beginning of Emancipation, I was excited, it started off better than I expected. Better than book one even, but as the book moved on I was disappointed. Stella was weak in the wrong place and strong in the right ones but she never followed through. A few times I wanted to slap them all a little. Overall I feel the writing [...]

    7. Meh - 2.75 stars - this book was really trying for me. I had a really hard time liking Conrad - his actions were not genuine, I didn't see him having any redeeming qualities frankly. And while I have been known to like the naïve heroine storyline, this one was really frustrating. She was so easily manipulated and controlled by her family and Conrad, quickly forgetting issues she was going to question them about. I had a hard time imagining a 30+ YO woman acting like a 19 YO one. This book didn' [...]
