    1. Crazy, Sexy, Ghoulish: A Halloween Romance is book one in the Crazy, Sexy, Ghoulish series by G.G. Andrew.Nora Travers is a twenty year old theater student worried about how she will pay for the next semester’s tuition. For Halloween she has a job in a local haunted house posing as various characters who will surely scare any client that passes through. Nora is very good at her job. When her boss hears that the owner of a very popular horror website is going to visit their haunted house among [...]

    2. 3 1/2 "Halloween Romance?!!?" Stars!Well, this was surprisingly good. Very cute. I thought it was a perfect idea for a Halloween romance. Moral to the story- Don't pick on people; it will come back to haunt you. Get it "haunt" you. Bwahahaha!! (I know it wasn't that funny.) This could have been 4 short story stars, but there was a scene toward the end that I felt was just unnecessary. Nora did a reenactment of a movie. I thought it was IDK kinda stupid. Very overly dramatic. But overall, a cute [...]

    3. I'm in love with yet another fictional male character: "Brendan Forrester." After reading this short book I can't stop smiling! I really enjoyed this book! Yes, this was a cute, fun and sweet book (*Gasp The Horror*) Yes, I, Jessica sometimes read a nice book every now and then! I love all things Halloween (my favorite time of year) this book has it all, Forgiveness, Haunted House, Horror films, and a Hot nerd gets the girl. Thank you, G.G. Andrew for writing such an AWESOME book!!!

    4. A zombie. A vampire. A witch. Nora Travers is none of these things. But the reformed mean girl has to hide behind costumes all Halloween week if she wants to scare the pants off Brendan, the horror geek with the power to earn her a Halloween bonus.Because Brendan is the nerd Nora used to torment in middle school. But now he’s in college and so scary hot, even her zombie heart starts beating. And the way he’s looking at her bloody fishnet stockings? [Shiver.]Nora has to be everything she’s no [...]

    5. OMFG!! Thank you as I desperately needed a binge book & this makes my horror nerd heart happy.Nora was monster in middle school. The pretty popular girl that made fun of others. Now, she only pretends to be monsters in the annual haunted house. She's tried to make amends to those she wronged in the past and it didn't go very well. But, at least she tried. Now, here comes another blast from her past, Brendan. The awkward creepy kid in the black hoodie grew up to be a smokin' hot horror nerd god [...]

    6. Nora has spent years reworking herself from bitch to nice girl but as experience tells her, it doesn’t always work. When she meets horror geek, who is also a victim of her previous self, she goes deeper into character. She has to scare him but she must not let him see who she is under the costume. This book surprised me. It was funny, sweet, honest, and it definitely had a moral to the story. I enjoyed Nora’s character because she made me laugh with her antics but when the serious side emerge [...]

    7. We all deserve second chances. Sometimes we make mistakes, big ones, and we can't move beyond those. Nora is trying, though, but she can't seem to find that last piece of redemption. She's not seeking it but knows that she deeply regrets making other kids' lives miserable. Her upbringing certainly wasn't gummy bears and roses, and there's no excuse for her treatment of others, but having seen firsthand what actions like hers feels like, she sets out to become a better person. What happens, thoug [...]

    8. 4.5 stars for this amazing little readI'm not always a fan of novella's but I absolutely loved this story of what to do when you fall for the guy you bullied at school. The story kept me engaged from start to finish, I wanted to get to know what would happen but I also didn't want the book to finish. The story is written just from Nora's POV and what a captivating and unusual story we got. The plot was well thought through, for a short book it was kept fairly simple but still felt like there was [...]

    9. A cute novella that might have been a better read if it were longer and more developed.I liked Nora and Brendan's chemistry--their text flirting was absolutely top-notch--but the development of their fledgling romance felt rushed because of the short space it had to play out in, and because so much weight was given to Nora's ex-mean-girl angst and guilt. Not that that doesn't send a good message, that bullying is wrong; and a side character she picked on as a kid doesn't forgive her, which is a [...]

    10. Great CoverI begin by saying the cover art is awesome & drew me right in.Nora was a mean girl in middle school. Now it's 7 years later & the people she was mean to cross paths with her & she wants them to like her. She has to figure out how to get their attention to apologize. Sometimes the best way to face your fears is to be someone else but being yourself is the right way.

    11. 4 starsThis was a fun Halloween read. I’m not really into slasher films or anything horror, but it’s quite fascinating to learn about. I loved the character development, especially of Nora, and her commitment to her craft. Nora and Brendan’s flirty exchanges were the highlight of the novella -- highly entertaining and enjoyable.

    12. Crazy, sexy, Ghoulish A Halloween RomanceLoved it . Good book for Halloween without being terrifying. It has romance , regret, costumes scary place that we have all or almost of us have gone to at one time.

    13. Nora was a mean girl in school and once she became disfigured in an accident she realized how mean she was and tried to apologise to others. Cute Halloween romance story about love and forgiveness. I voluntarily reviewed this book.

    14. Got this as a kindle freebie. Such a lovely little Hallowe’en themed novella. Had me laughing out loud a couple of times. The conflict felt relatable. Good character development, even in such a short book. Will definitely want to read more by this author.

    15. Haunted houseShort sweet story, good message. Setting covered, characters developed and inner monologue funny. Not everyone is nice in their past but people change.

    16. Actually kind of spooky and scary! The heroine is working at a haunted house when a well known horror blogger is scheduled to stop by– except he’s the same kid she used to torture and bully in middle school. Of course, romance blossoms! Until he finds out who she really is! By setting the story in a haunted house, Andrews is able to bring some of the thrills and chills of the season into the story. Did the heroine grovel enough to make up for her past? I don’t know. I still gave it 4 stars [...]

    17. It was a fast read, and good for a freebie, it breaks the jadded cute-sy girl meets boy. I think part of the easy read was that it was sweet, smart, sexy, and funny, though i just think it was a bit overplayed the hole part of how gulty she felt. The tweeting or texting were so much fun to read & conversations between Nora and Brendan in her work were great! and her coustumes omg love her comitmment!!

    18. An enjoyable Halloween read for all ages. I really liked this novella because it was funny, romantic and sad all at the same time with a deep truth about our actions coming back to.haunt us!

    19. This review was originally posted to Jen in Bookland4.5 stars*Note: I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review*Crazy, Sexy, Ghoulish was such a fun read! Oh I really enjoyed this one. If you know me then you know I love celebrating holidays however I can. Any and every holiday. This year I was a bit sad as I was on vacation for Halloween, my favorite holiday, and so I missed out on my Halloween fun. I missed out on all my Halloween reads. Not that I won't read them the rest [...]

    20. Brandan Forrester was the creator of Horror Monger- a popular horror website with thousands of followers. Brandan was the guy Nora needed to terrify. In middle school Nora had made fun of certain people and Brandan was one of them. But now they were grown up. Nora was at her job at the Haunted Shack and her manager had warned them Brandan would be coming through. Brandan was going to all the haunted houses in the area and ranking them. In H S Nora's sophomore year Nora got in a car accident that [...]

    21. I voluntarily read and reviewed a free copy of this book from Netgalley.Looking for a short Halloween read? Check out this quirky and cute novella by G.G. Andrews. Nora was a monster in middle school, she was popular because she was a bully and has a mean streak, she never once considered the repercussion of her actions until the day she was involved in an accident that left a scar on her face. Determined to be a better person, she worked in HauntedShack to make ends meet and to pay for her coll [...]

    22. I always look for something quick and fun to read for the Halloween season. Of course, most of my reading is in the genre of paranormal but I love a good Halloween book. Crazy, Sexy, Ghoulish was given to me in exchange for an honest review and honestly I loved it. First off, this is a novella so it isn't a long book. I knew this going in but I was sad when I got to the end because I wanted it to keep going. It was fun, it was sassy, and it had a high level of engagement. Girl was mean to boy, g [...]

    23. Nora was a Bully in school. Brendan was someone she bullied. Nora does realize (in high school) that what she was doing was mean, wrong, and she's was being an awful human being. So she does change. She runs into Brendan several years later (both in college) at a haunted house. She is not recognized due to her costume and makeup.I understood Nora's fear that she would be recognized and ruin any chance of her haunted house having a positive review (that other people depended on too). This was an [...]

    24. Get in the Halloween spirit with this quick read! Looking for a contemporary romance quick read? This New Adult Halloween novella is just the ticket!I'll never find the idea of a bully growing up and then having a romance with the person they bullied truly believable, it's still a trope I kinda like. Nora is pretty ashamed of her middle school behavior but can't resist the hottie the kid she used to pick on has become. It's an oddly built story in that it takes place at a haunted house she works [...]

    25. Nora was a mean girl in middle school. Typical angsty, middle school-aged drama. Brendan, the object and target of a great deal of that meanness, is coming to her workplace. And wow, has he ever changed! No longer the geeky loser, he is hot now and she would like to get to know him better. But how does she make up for hurting him so much back in their earlier days? Also, how does she manage to scare him enough to get the bonus, but not let him know who she really is?! This dilemma plaques Nora o [...]

    26. I really enjoyed "Crazy, Sexy, Goulish". It was a cute, but slightly warped novella. A perfect Halloween read! But it really did hit home on the junior high drama and trauma that can happen. I think that's the worst time for "mean kids". I had my share of going thru it too sucked! That was about a lifetime ago, but I still remember it clearly and how it jaded me and changed a lot of my life choices. I liked how you put the "happy ending" in this book though. It was very relatable and well writte [...]

    27. Nerdy stuff + Halloween + romance: yes, please. I haven't read a ton of NA, but if there is more like this this out there, I've been missing out and intend to make up for it. This was sweet, smart, sexy, and funny. The conversations between Nora and Brendan, especially when they were tweeting or texting were so much fun to read and I found myself thinking about the characters even when I was not reading.I loved seeing former mean girl Nora get to that vulnerable place she needed to be in to come [...]

    28. Really wasn't what I was expecting going in as I was expecting a paranormal book. So sue me for not reading the blurb. Have to say I was really surprised. The tone was perfect for a Halloween story. It set the scenes great without being superlative. The characters and story were strong yet not overpowering. To say it was a sweet love story does not do the actual story justice but it was that and much more. A really enjoyable evenings read.

    29. I didn't realize at first that this was a novella, and I am somewhat sad that it was. I would have loved to read more about the Creeper and the haunted house actress. They were adorable together without being sickening, plus getting a hint of Halloween with every step. I lover that the author tried to keep her in character in the house rather than always falling out around him.** RECEIVED IN EXCHANGE FOR HONEST REVIEW ON NETGALLEY **
