    1. After watching some booktube videos (at this time of a year, booktube is full of horror and spooky books recommendations and TBRs), I was in a mood for some horror and spooky read.Since horror novels are something I read so rarely that I don't even know which books are good and which ones are new, I decided I would just reread a book that made me shit my pants when I was 15.It is also one of my all-time favorite books for the same reason - that book woke up emotions I wasn't even awared I had in [...]

    2. See more of my reviews at Bettering Me Up.I'm trying to remember at what age I used to read R.L. Stine's older books. 10? 12? I read his books religiously when I was a preteen. But I don't remember them being so poorly written. This book is classified as Young Adult, but I don't know any YA fans who would think this was any good: characters are undeveloped; the story goes way too quickly; the plot is constructed in such an amateur fashion that I'm not sure how this was approved to publish; etc. [...]

    4. This book has twist and turns at every corner. The boy in this book was a lier and every lie he made mixed with reality and his lies were becoming true and then he got thrown into an alternate universe and all of his lies were the truth. No,matter how hard he tried to tell the truth but none of his famliy members would believe him. Since he was in an alternate universe there were two of him and only one of them could stay. So he had to get back to his universe as soon as possible, but they ended [...]

    5. You hold in you hand the key to a shadow world of shivers and screams. Take a step away from the safe, comfortable world you know. Unlock the door to terror. There's always room for one more inThe Nightmare Room. Danielle Warner was only pretending to hypnotize her brother Peter. So why is Peter acting so strange Terrifying? Doesn't Peter realize it was all a joke? Danielle and her brother are about to learn a frightening lessons: It's not a good idea to kid around--in The Nightmare Room. What wi [...]

    6. When I read this book I was 12 and I remember I was really impressed by the book, because It was not just a fiction or a thriller story , alongside it's nice thriller story (which I still remember my heart beat from back then) it had it's nice emotional feelings between characters that makes you really care about the events. One of few stories I won't forget as the name of the book suggests itself.

    7. I read this when I was in my very early teens or maybe even younger and it made me want to read more, so even though I have no idea if the story was good, I think the rating is justified. Books for teens are meant to make them want to read more and entertain them and I read this story in one day or something like that and bought two other books right away.

    8. i was amazed how 2 days happenings had been written in 160 pages. its a good scary story for children. his sister hypnotised him and then started his weirdness. she thoough it was her fault but wasnt. it was the house that was making the weirdness. it is the forget-me house. the people living in the house will forget everything one by one. it is a cool story.

    9. i was forced to read this book- school assignment to read a scary book and I had trouble picking one, so my teacher got that one. It was really good, but so scary I had lots of nightmares. I strongly suggest avoiding this book if you get scared easily. but if you like scary stuff, it's a really good book even though its RL Stine.

    10. I love R.L.Stine, he's one of my all time favourite authors and began reading his books from a young age. The Nightmare Room is a very good series, very much like Goosebumps but if memory recalls, the characters in the Nightmare Room series are a little older than those from the goosebumps series.

    11. Actual rating: 2.5 stars. A decent story but there were two things that really didn't make sense. (view spoiler)[The reporter (if people forgot, why were there articles about the house?) and the weird goo that covered all the kids. (hide spoiler)]

    12. I really liked this one I think it was the best in the series, I always enjoy this book and I've re read this book many time. Everybody in every age likes these books hough R.L Stine books are for children.

    13. ga bagus-bagus amat sih ini, hahaha Mungkin karena aku bacanya pas jaman sekarang, coba jaman SMP, mungkin masih merasakan hal bagus dari buku ini.

    14. I think this is some kind of a masterpiece by R. L. Stine. From the page 1 to the last one. Great ending.

    15. This is aimed at an older audience than Goosebumps (meaning the main characters are 15 rather than 12).I was hoping I might enjoy it more but no. It was just boring most of the time.

    16. itz about a family who shifts into a new house which makes them forget each other!!!!!!!!a great ridee into horror
