As a child, Remy was an avid reader and writer, bringing stacks of books everywhere she went and scribbling stories in a thick spiral notebook She heard somewhere that you should have a career based on what you loved to do when you were 10, and she would love nothing than to follow that advice.

    1. Shoot, I thought this would be an easy afternoon read and I just realized it's got a cliffhanger ending. Well, that just sucks. Our hero Carlo is this big time cocky rich ass dick, who's actually nice to everyone except for the women he'd dates. Twenty-one year old Cassandra is young, naive, pretty and has already suffered a whole lotta loss during her short lifed then Carlo saunters into it. Douchebag Carlo has some stupid-ass bet going on with a co-worker where they each find nice girls, wine [...]

    4. It was the contradictions he saw in her: the feisty attitude juxtaposed with the wariness, the confidence opposite the vulnerability. Most of all, it was the challenge. He’d known from the moment they met. There were three words: I found oneCarlo Leone, a CEO who is rich and powerful and extremely attractive. At 27 years old he has all he could want. The things that thrill him the most are the games he and his coworker play with women they meet. He is a love them and leave them kinda guy. He has [...]

    5. As I was reading Point of Submission by Remy Landon, I was reminded of the curious and intoxicating game of dating. You know the game where the girl, Cassandra Larson, meets the boy, Carlo Leone, and where the girl plays hard to get and the guy is relentless in his pursuit but yet has ulterior motives hidden behind truckloads of charm and smoldering good looks. Yep, that's the game I was reminded of here in the novel. However, whichever role these two took on to play this game and regardless of [...]

    6. Ok so first of all let me tell you how amazing this book is. I've been taken on a ride along of nerves and expectations. Of doubts and worry. Of budding love. On both sides.Point Of Submission is in both Cassandra and Carlo's POV which makes the story flow easier. You see emotions on both parts, see how just one moment, one person, could be a game changer. Cassandra is super sweet, it's very easy to connect with her character emotionally. Seeing her character build as I read on was fabulous. Bei [...]

    7. *I was provided an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review*Remy Landon is a new author, and for being a debut novel Point Of Submission is very good. The writing style speaks to experience even though this is her first book. Point Of Submission tells the story of young Cassandra who has had more than her fair share troubling life experiences. She meets equally young and jaded Carlo, who has an interesting view on women after a mysterious past. The is a lot of mystery that is slowly rev [...]

    8. OOOOOOHHHH!!! This is the kind of erotic romance story I really love!He is a player and the game is submission. And it is a game played by two players: Carlo and Brock.Cassandra is being cautious, but how can stop herself from falling in love with Carlo when he is unrelenting in his pursuit and experienced at getting his way. This is a wildly delicious story and only Part One. This is the stuff that erotic romance stories are made of. I felt like kicking Carlo in the "you know where" multiple tim [...]

    9. I love the writing in this book. I'll admit now: some of the magic was lost on me totally - I despise horses (not fear, just loathing). However for people who are passionate about horses, or even just like them, the story will set a really gorgeous scene for you: I'd imagine you'll even be able to smell the horsey smells of the stables. I like Cassandra a lot and my heart really feels for her. She's been hurt and let down and deserves someone who just adores her. I feel like there's a Cassandra [...]

    10. Cassandra Larsen is woman accustomed to working hard for the thing she has. Carlo Leone is a rich powerful CEO who expects to get everything he desires. Carlo meets Cassandra at the stable he owns and is immediately drawn to her beauty and her feisty attitude. Due to tragic events in his past, Carlo has become guarded with his emotions. This leads Carlo and a business partner to construct a devious game. Cassandra is wary of relationships due to her own troubled past. Carlo immediately senses sh [...]

    12. Complimentary Copy Aww the struggles of changing ones life is never easy. Cassandra as well as Carlo are finding this out. I love Cassandra she is feisty willing to stand her ground. Carlo I’m a little on the fence with him now. He has some things that are holding him back that haven’t come out leaving him with some mystery to him.I really enjoyed this read. I’m huge on cliffhangers and Remy delivered. I love a book to take you right to the edge never quite letting you go over and Remy giv [...]

    13. I was approached by the author and asked to review this new release. I loved the sound of the book, so I purchased it.This title sounded right up my street, it had the makings of a story that I love to love; a gorgeous, rich and dominant man. A heroine who can hold her own, and is suffering her own mental torment. Now, I’m not sure if I’ve just read too many of these books with the same base plot or not? But, when I finished this book I just felt disappointed. I spent the book waiting for a t [...]

    14. Review posted at: bookcrushbookreviews/2014/Rating: 3 starsOur leading female character is Cassandra~an independent, hardworking, courageous, takes-no-shit or orders woman that works for our lead male, Carlo. Carlo is a CEO and an owner of a horse stable that is a dominant, gets-what-he-wants, powerful type of man. His blend between CEO and owner of a horse stable opens us up to see the two different sides to whom he is. . e powerful day to day man and the sweet, tender man he holds close and do [...]

    15. Not my style of book I'm afraid. I didn't like either our hero or heroine.Carlo because he was smarmy, arrogant and never seemed genuine. Cassandra because she was just blah. She'd say one thing and mean another and there was never really any effort to connect her with the reader.Carlo was especially difficult to connect with because he viewed everything to do with Cassandra as part of the game which meant when he realised is 'true' feelings I didn't believe a word of it.

    16. Good story but it took a while to get into, it took a long time building up the storyline, and then the twist of the ending
