    1. Reviewed by MarissaBook provided by the author for reviewReview originally posted at Romancing the BookShit Kickers & Stilettos was an okay book. It wasn’t a bad book by any means, but it wasn’t a great book. Maybe it just didn’t appeal to me – and now I’m having a hard time trying to figure out what to say about any of it.I didn’t really identify with Rosie in any way. She’s petite, rich and has a gaggle of close friends always on call. Usually I can put myself in the heroine [...]

    2. CuteHe has been her uncle's right hand man but also the son he never had. She is his niece, when he dies he only ask that they stay at the ranch for 6 months. But at first they don't realize he was setting them up.

    3. WonderfulThis is a wonderful story. I loved the character development. Loved the build up in the story. Will probably read this book again. Really enjoyed.

    4. I liked this book well enough to give it a 4. I found both the main characters to be intriguing to follow. Rosie came from a wealthy background and was spoiled, but she ended up coming off as a hard working individual, who created her own goals and didn't do everything just the way mommy and daddy would have liked. Dade was very appealing to the eyes and a hard working individual, as well. All that he had accomplished with the devastating event he had gone through was huge. I did find his name t [...]

    5. I received this book for free from LibraryThing and was instantly in love with the plot of a rich city girl and a business savvy cowboy thrown together after the death of an important figure in both these characters lives. The author commented that she "writes contemporary romances and her stories vary in heat from sweet to sizzling. I would call this somewhere in between. There was a sweetness to it and scenes that sizzled but overall the book was in between. These characters definitely could h [...]

    6. Rosie love her stilettos and Dade always wore shit kicker (Cowboy boots), which gives the story the title Shit Kickers & Stilettos. It also indicates the differences between the city girl and the country gentleman that are living together in Rosie's late Uncle Teddy's country home. Dade was Teddy's assistant and ran his company after Teddy became his guardian and mentor when his parents were killed when he was a child.Teddy hoped by requiring Rosie and Dade to live together that they would f [...]

    7. I think Dade has the hots for Ms. Rosie when we first start the book with the way he acts, "so I can assume since you won't be having my company there's not one special for you right now." He didn't step back when she spun around." Sometimes Dade has a hard time with words, but Rosie knows how to push him to get him to say how he feels, "Dade wasn't going to let it end like this so he grabbed her arm and pulled her back blocking her exit. "I didn't like the way he was trying to get touchy-feely [...]

    8. Rosie and Dade finally meet when Rosie's uncle Teddy dies. Teddy tries to play matchmaker in his will. Rosie and Dade go along with uncle Teddy's plan to run the business for six months together and live on his ranch. Dade figures out that Teddy is trying to play matchmaker, but Rosie has no idea. This was a good book. Rosie has some great friends that are there for her. Dade has seen a lot of heartache in his life and isn't sure that Teddy's plan will work. It was interesting watching these two [...]

    9. Awesome story. I love reading about strong, powerful women who can hold their own against any man - intelligence, financials, and passion. I loved the story. Two people mourning the loss of someone so important with only each other to turn to makes sense, but the story was so much more than that. I loved their interactions, their passion, the way they cared for each other. We should all have someone in our lives who loves us like this!

    10. It could have been good but when you are faced with grammatical errors it makes you feel like you've been short changed! This surely should have been checked prior to publication? When I venture into the M/F world I like my female's strong and able to hold their own. Unfortunately this didn't happen here and I was left wondering a few times what the point of this book was about. Sorry to be so blunt

    11. I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.I couldn't put this book down. The characters were relatable - so much that you felt like part of their inner circle. The storyline was well developed. Even though you knew where the story was going to end up, there were a lot of surprises thrown into the mix. I enjoyed the style of writing, it was just honest story telling. Not a lot of unnecessary details, just romance.

    12. I liked it this book. It was a lighthearted romance with a little kick too it. There's four heiresses so you know three more books are coming, and I'm good with that for a diversion for the day. It will be nice to see the characters develop through the series.

    13. Worthwhile read.Author needs to just study her characters a little more. Not much depth to their personalities.I will look for books by this author. They will always get better as her writing skills improve.

    14. It was ok. I liked Dade and Rosie. Too much time was spent talking about Rosie's friends and there were a ton issues that needed proofed and edited, but overall an ok read.

    15. Grammatical errors abound! It's frustrating. "Some" much rather than so much, "went" she was upset- just a couple examples within a few pages.

    16. Very very nice, I enjoyed very much read this story with one smart female protagonist and one handsome cute male protagonist. Finally one romance simple but lovely.
