    1. I reread this book, with the new cover and like it a lot.Christian scifi Dragon Warrior and the Princess is a wonderful tale. This is the second review I’ve written. I have no excuse for the first one. It came early in my reviewing effort, before I realized how bad most Christian fiction is. Now I realize that this story has much more spiritual content than most. The main characters are complex and believable. The social interactions were very satisfying to me, but then I’m virtually a comple [...]

    2. What a beautiful love story! A most beautifully written relationship between two people, who by no means were supposed to be together. Aurelia is a princess, whose royal family has been overthrown by a blood thirsty Black Dragon worshiper, who started practicing human sacrifices on her planet; Sebastian is a genetically engineered warrior, whose only purpose is to serve and protect the royal family, but now he’s the only one left of his kind. So will he be able to overstep the memories of how [...]

    3. This is something new and refreshing in the annals of shapeshifting. The Dragon Warrior, who once was called Sebastian before he became a warrior slave, is conditioned to obey the royal family so when he finds his princess on a frozen garbage planet, he has to help her, even though it means he must be a slave again. He must enable her to return to her world to fight those who overthrew the monarchy even though Princess Aurelia's father was the one who ordered the destruction of his race. Aurelia [...]

    4. Sebastian has a beast lurking inside him. He longs to control the beast and do the right thing, following God. Isn't that what we should all try to do as believers? Shouldn't we fight to tame our internal beasts and honor God through our actions? This is a fun, light Christian sci-fi. The plot is original, though not entirely unpredictable. The characters are interesting--flawed by their past, but relatable. It was a quick read, and I didn't want to put it down. In fact, I didn't put it down. I r [...]

    5. I received this book for free from the author for an honest review. The Dragon Warrior and the Princess is pretty much summed up in the title. The book follows a princess as she plans to reclaim her throne from an evil rebel. She befriends a warrior that is the last of his kind. The book is a fantasy in a futuristic sci-fi world. The reason I am giving this book four stars is because of the very last line of the book. I do not think the relationship between the two characters developed as much as [...]

    6. His name used to be Sebastian, when he had a happy home and family. Now, this genetically-modified warrior with an unbelievable flashpoint finds a sort of contentment on an ice world garbage dump. But when the princess who deserves only his vengeance shows up in the same place, his heart won't let him ignore her need for his service. Destiny is more than a vague concept as these two people are thrown together and pulled apart over and over. There is providence behind the pain. It's a fantasy wit [...]

    7. I really enjoyed The Dragon Warrior and the Princess. This fantasy read, I would recommend to older teens and adults. It is a fun and interesting book. I think you, also, will enjoy this book if you enjoy fantasy novels.I want to give this book a 4.5 star rating but not sure how to do that so, its getting 5 stars cause 4 is not enough! I look forward to reading more books by this author as this is the first I had heard of Celesta Thiessen‏. I received this book in exchange for an honest review [...]

    8. Nice introduction to a complex worldThe author has introduced us to a complex world full of castes and dragons, mercy and justice, intrigue and romance, all with an undercurrent of faith and good-hearted protagonist. I hope to read more from this world soon, as this made for a lovely relaxing afternoon.

    9. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I kept reading it while I was suppose to be working. I love the interaction between the princess and the dragon warrior. I especially like the story line. It may have been geared toward a younger audience but I couldn't put it down. It was the first book I read from this author which now makes me a fan.

    10. Since I can't give a 4.75 here, I chose 5. The only reason I would have gone for the 4.75 is one tiny little question that I didn't get answered to my satisfaction. But this is a great story, with an excellent premise and well executed. This is a great book and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The characters were well done and as in life, often ambiguous. The ending was totally satisfying. Good job.

    11. I really liked the creativity of this story - and think anyone who likes Star Trek & Star Wars would like this too. I particularly liked the main male character but I did struggle with some POV/character references with respect to him so I'd probably give this book about 3.5 stars but happier to round up than down.

    12. As a long time sci-fi lover I enjoyed this read. It had all the elements of good sci-fi with a mixture of fantasy (the shapeshifting dragon warrior). The romance was sweet and satisfying; the faith element was well played - not overt, in my opinion, but still an important part of the overall story. I think the author's writing style is geared to a YA audience, although others may enjoy it as well. Because the story takes place over a relatively long period of time there is quite a bit of 'tellin [...]
